How is GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) different from regular SEO?
Regular SEO targets Google rankings for human clicks. GEO restructures a site so it is cited as a source inside AI answers from ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Overviews. The technical requirements differ: GEO needs server-side rendered HTML, deep JSON-LD schema (FAQPage, Service, Article), modular 75–150 word answer blocks, and an llms.txt manifest. CapeWeb delivers both.

We build on Shopify for ecommerce when conversion-rate optimisation matters most. For content, services and lead-generation sites we use React (Vite) or Next.js because they ship faster pages, better Core Web Vitals, and the semantic-HTML control GEO requires. We rarely recommend WordPress for new builds.
